    3. Could anyone with knowledge of Worcester City streets please help? In 1881 my GtGtgrandfather George Williams lived at 40 Britannia Square. He was a tailor and licensed victualler. The dwelling place is given on the LDS Familysearch website as: 40 Brit Sq to Salt Lne "Public Hse" Grn Man Inn I assume The Green Man Inn is his pub. I am puzzled by the reference "to Salt Lane". In the 19th century map I have Salt Lane is quite a long way to the South (about where Castle Street is on the 20th century map) I have 40 Britannia Square on the current Multimap, I wonder if it is the same house? I was born in a nursing home in Springfield House in the Square but I think it has now disappeared. Vivien
