Hi Folks, I am a new subscriber to this list and have discovered the surname D'Egville in my tree. So far I have ascertained Lewis (or Louis) Hervert D'Egville married Mary Day 1804 at St Michael's Bedwardine Worcestershire. Of the 9 known children, I have come forward via 1861 on 3 of them: James born abt 1813 married one Charlotte Augusta ? before Nov 1837, nil after 1861, William married Harriet Day 5 Jan 1847 and Louis married Louise ? around 1855. As you can imagine, tracing these folks is difficult as the name is usually misspelt (to say the least). If anyone can help or point me in the right direction it would break down the brick walls I have encountered so far.
