Hi Jacquie, Many thanks for answering my query. I have had a look at the Worcestershire Library & History Centre's website and note that there is no parking available there. Unfortunately, the link to the City Council's site for information on parking did not work. Are you familiar with the Centre ? If so, can you please tell me which is the most convenient carpark for long stay or does the city have a park-and-ride scheme ? Kind regards Joan
Hello Joan et al, Yes. Worcester has an excellent Park n'ride system. It's on the A38 just to the north of the city. Take a look at their website: http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/home/cs-transport-park-ride/cs-transport-park-ride-cost.htm Regards David Pearsall does the city have a park-and-ride scheme ? > > Kind regards > Joan > > > ==== ENG-WORCESTER Mailing List ==== > Transcribers wanted for Worcestershire FreeREG > for more information see http://freereg.rootsweb.com > UK Census on-line > http://freecen.rootsweb.com/ > http://www.worcestershiresurnames.co.uk/ > > >
Hello David, Many thanks for that information. It looks more convenient to use the park-and-ride than get caught up in one-way streets, looking for a carpark. Kind regards Joan
