    3. I'm hoping a fresh set of eyes can help me sort this puzzle out. I have a marriage in 1847 1/11/1847 Henry WORTON, Bachelor, of full age, a labourer. Lived Swan Street(I think), father John Worton, a Labourer Ann PARLAR, a widow of full age, lived Mill Street. Father John Davis, a weaver. Witnesses were Phoebe Parlar and John Davis. In 1851 I have William Henry PAILER (I'm pretty sure this is my PARLAR family) Head age 47 Carpet Weaver born Hereford Yely? ( I think this is really Phoebe) PAILER Wife age 42 born Kidderminster Ann WARTON Daughter age 22 born Kidderminster occ Bobbin winder for Carpet Weavers Edwin PAILER Son age 20 Carpet Weaver born Kidderminster James PAILER Son age 17 Carpet Weaver born Kidderminster Harriett PAILER Daughter age 6 Carpet Weavers assistant born Kidderminster (Probably reads 16) In 1861 I have: 1861 RG92079 Folio 110 Page 12 ED:18 Sched. 78 Virtue Cottage ( St John Street ) PARLOUR Matthew/ William? Head M 57 Comm. Carpet Weaver Born Hereford/HEF Phebe Wife M 52 Born Kidderminster/WOR WHARTON Ann Dau. U 32 " " PARLOUR Sarah Ellen Dau. U 5 Scholar " " The mother Phoebe has the father John Davis. Seems like the same father as her daughter Ann Warton. If she is a widow PARLAR in 1847 why is she listed as a daughter in 1851 and 1861? It seems like she should have been a daughter in law in 1847, but her father is the same as Phoebe, so did a sister marry a nephew? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Jennifer
