    3. I am re-sending a message that I sent yesterday after joining the list. Although a copy of it was put in my "sent" folder, it didn't come back from the List in my in-box so I'm thinking that somehow it never got to the list. Hello Listers: I'm new on the block. My family name is Pedley. Two (of four) of my Great GrandUncles lived in (near?) Kidderminster. Uncle Stanhope Humphrey Pedley's death cert (1938) states that his residence was "The Monks Chaddesley Corbett RD". Uncle Philip Pedley's cert (1956) states that his residence was "34 Marlpool Lane Kidderminster". Stanhope's wife Mary Leonie Pedley (Munster) was the informant for Philip's death cert. It states that her residence at that time was "Eastcote Chaddesley Corbett (near) Kidderminster". I don't know if that was the same residence as "The Monks" I am fearful that neither uncle had any children. I think that they both might have been fairly well-to-do. And so therefore, could it be possible that either of those two residences still exist? A home they lived in as children, in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (Stubbing Court) still stands. If I could find where the the three of them are buried where might I find someone who could take pictures of these places? Is there a local library that might have archived newspapers where there might be obits - and hopefully (fingers crossed) pictures? It would be so wonderful to actually find pictures. Diane
