    3. Hi John, Quay Street was definitely in existence in 1841 - it's named as such on an 1835 map I've got - and is almost certainly far older than that. It runs due South from the front of All Saints Church to [now South, was then just 'plain.] Quay. Neighbouring streets would be Bridge Street and Hood Street [very short] plus possibly Hares [and/or Hounds] Lane(s) and Warmstry Slip.
