    3. I am having a terrible time trying to find the birth/bapt., for my 2 x gt grandfather, Samuel HARRIS, born in Stourbridge abt 1813. I have a bapt., certificate for his brother, John HARRIS, bapt., at Old Swinford on April 5, 1818, son of Joseph HARRIS, victualler and Mary. I did find a Joseph and Mary HARRIS in the 1851 census, as follows: Kingswinford, Worcs HARRIS, Joseph head 68 Nail Maker Lye, Worcs HARRIS, Mary wife 62 Stourbridge HARRIS, Harban? son 25 Pedlar? Kingswinford HARRIS, Ellen dau 17 Kingswinford I am really unsure about this one, as it does not include either Samuel or John Harris. However, after saying that I know that Samuel Harris was living in Halifax, Yorkshire, by 1851 where he was a compositor with a newspaper. Might someone have the 1841 census or bapt., records for 1813 in the Stourbridge area? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Kathy Witheridge Ontario, Canada
