    1. Powick Asylum
    2. If SKS has time, I would appreciate some information from the Worcester Records Office regarding my ggrandfather, Alfred Hemming, age 50, who died in the Powick Asylum of pthysis and hemoptsys on July 8, 1875. I understand the asylum records (approx. 1 page per inmate) are located off site from the Worcester Records office and must be ordered a day or so in advance. If SKS wouldn't mind obtaining a copy of this record for me, I'd really appreciate it. (I'm in the Pacific Northwest of the USA and don't think I'll be getting to Worcester any time soon). If you need further information about my ggrandfather, ie. spouse, occupation, dob, etc., please advise. I'll be happy to reimburse costs. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
