Hello, can anybody help me. My GT GT Grandfather was Thomas TAYLOR a publican, he married Miriam Ursula SAWREY in 1847. I am trying to find out 1. when he was born 2. where he was born. His fathers name was James TAYLOR a gardener, I believe he came from Worchestershire or Warwickshire. I would be very grateful if anybody can help me on this. Hi Diana, I've checked the Worcs 1851 for your Thomas & Miriam Taylor. There's 6 Thomas Taylor's associated with the beer industry (publicans, brewers, etc) but none have a wife named Miriam or Ursula. On the 1861 census there's a Miriam U. Taylor, aged 41, widow, seamstress, born Tamworth, living in Birmingham with her children. Regards from Malcolm Platt-Grigg.
