On the 1851 Census it shows Lord Lyttleton, Lady Lyttleton, four sons, three daughters the Lords Brother William who was Rector of Hagley also over 20 servants etc. Worcester County Cricket Club was formed in 1865 by Lord Lyttleton. The most interesting of all is the involvement of Stephen Littleton who was connected to the Gun Powder Plot with the Wintours, Throckmortons and Gatesbys etc. If you would like to visit my site www.worcesterpeopleandplaces.com over the weekend I will add some details on.
