Hello to you all, I am descended from a family called Forrester. Samuel Forrester, his wife, Mary (Paling), and five sons John, Henry, Samuel, William, and Edward were living at 21, Beoley Street, Redditch at the time of the 1851 census. Samuel Forrester, (senior), was born in Tanworth, Warwickshire, c1810. I take this to be Tanworth-In-Arden, Warwickshire, rather than Tamworth, which in any case happens to be in Staffordshire. I can find no relevant baptism entry in a bound volume of the Tanworth-In-Arden baptism register, held at Birmingham library, and this does hinder my progress into my Forrester line. Incidentally, nothing in the Tamworth, Staffordshire baptism register either. Samuel Forrester and Mary Paling married in 1831, before civil registration. I would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on how I could progress with my Forrester (or Paling) lines, or if anyone has further information on "my" Forresters?
