TAYLOR b.Tamworth Staffordshire was a widower living at Birmimgham all saints and that her eldest child JAMES was born in Warwickshire, however I could not find a JAMES TAYLOR gardener in Warwickshire. Trouble is looking on the 1841 census THOMAS TAYLOR may well have been away from home at that time. What you need really is to find him in Warwickshire on the 1851 census but unfortunately this is the only one I haven't got, the Warwickshire family history site I'm sure does free look-ups. Hi Diana, Sorry I didn't see your original posting but I have been away for a few weeks and am just catching up on messages so am not sure who you are looking for. The first James Taylor on Lynn's e.mail is an ancestor of mine so if I can help further please let me know. James was born 1793 in Kempsey, Worcs and his wife was Jane Langford. James' father was Thomas Taylor and his mother was Mary although I don't have her last name.
