Hi everyone I am a new subscriber, trying to find out about Braziers in the Clifton on Teme, Great Whitley, Rock, areas. I would be delighted to hear from anyone with a similar interest. From the 91 census, Edward Brazier and his wife, Sarah were inmates at Cleobury Workhouse, both having formerly lived at Tall Trees, Rock in 1881. ( It was Steph, on the Blackcountry site, who kindly found them at the workhouse) Rock is covered by Cleobury Workhouse. Now I have a death cert 1894, which seems to be his, but it says he died at Far Forest, Rock. RSD ( I'm not sure what RSD means either) Does anyone know if Far Forest was a private address, instituition or what? I was interested to read the other emails about deaths in Workhouses. My Edward Brazier was aged 76 in the workhouse and died 3 years later at "Far Forest". I was surprised he came out of the workhouse at that age. Cheers everyone,
