Friends I cannot locate the Death of my 3 XGt Grandmother Margaret NASH - IN 1901 census she is listed as a Widow, living at, 94 Mill Street , Kidderminster, aged 69yrs ( born 1832 ) and living on Parish Relief. I have searched the GRO Index and can only find one Death Registered for a Margaret NASH nee ROEBUCK) in Worcestershire, for the approx time frame - it is the correct age, but I am puzzled as is in Upton upon Severn ! Thus - 672 Nash Margaret 73 Upton Upon Severn.6c 155 Death June¼ 1907 Is anybody going to Kidderminster Library in the near future - who could check Burials, possibly St John's Baptist Church, for a burial for Margaret in the period 1901 - 1920. Alternatively how willing are the Staff in the Registry Office in Kidderminster, would they be prepared to check for a Death registered there but not appearing on the National GRO Index ( has been known to occur) I am checking Workhouse Records, but doubtful that Margaret if admitted to Kidderminster Workhouse would be transferred to Upton on Severn, and we have no family connection there ( at least not with the Nashes ) Margaret's only child my Gt Grandfather had moved with wife and Family to Selly Oak, by 1901 !!
