Hello again, I am looking for the baptism of Rhoda SANDERS about 1755. She married Robert REE in 1779 according to the IGI. Robert REA or REE born about 1755. I am interested in finding a burial for him after 1800. He had a child baptised in 1799. I have the NBI first edition and he is not on it. I think Robert was the son of George and Sarah nee TOMKINS. I am looking for their marriage. James REA married Hannah about 1811. Has anyone come across their marriage? Hannah's mother could have been Susannah as that was the name of her first born but I don't have a surname. They had the children baptised at St Peter's Worcester. Thank you Joan in Devon

Hello Joan I was at the Worcester Family History Centre today and had a look for answers to some of your queries in the Worcestershire Marriage Index. The following marriages licences were obtained:- 18 October 1788 Robert Rea and Rhoda Sanders of College Precincts for Worcester, St Helens 20 October 1757 George Rea and Sara Tomkins of St Swithins, for Worcester, St Helens 31 October 1811 James Rea and Hannah Portman of St Helens, for Worcester St Johns I also found the following references to Worcestershire probate of wills for people who may be connected to your Rea family:- Robert Tomkins Rea of Worcester City probate February 1892 number 145. James Portman Rea of St John’s Worcester (presumably James and Hannah’s son) was dated August 1879 number 664 Hannah Rea of Worcester City, March 1897 number 142. As you know copies of the wills can be obtained by contacting the Worcester Family History Centre and quoting the full reference above. The charge is £3 plus 60p per page which includes postage.
