I am new to this list, and am researching Joseph HOWELL. Joseph was transported to Tasmania in 1852. For stealing a Sheep from a Mr Hogg at Thurley, and was tried at Worcester on the 31 December 1849. He arrived in Tasmania on the 9/12/1852 , and was given a 7 yr sentence. He was from Elderfield in Gloucestershire. He was a farm labourer, aged 25, could read and write. He had a brothers William & John, and sisters Emma and Eliza. I was wondering if SKS could find Joseph in the 1851 census, or anything on his siblings for me. who his parents were. Or maybe something on who Mr Hogg was. Thanking you Kitty Cambridge Tasmania --
