Hello I'm on the 1841 and could do with a bit of advice please. Does the only reference to Halesowen include Cradley, Lutley and Warley, or is there another bit hiding somewhere. Trying to find my FRANKLINs somewhere in Halesowen. In 1851 they were in Islington Street. Any ideas? Best wishes Sally
Sally: In 1841 most of the parish of Halesowen, including Oldbury, was a detached part of Shropshire. Only a few little bits, which you seem to have found, were in Worcestershire. The whole parish moved to Worcestershire in 1844. So look under Shropshire, HO107, piece 908. BTW, are you in touch with Cassy, who also has FRANKLINs? Good luck Paul Prescott ----- Original Message ----- From: <Sallykruczek@aol.com> To: <ENG-WORCESTER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2005 11:19 AM Subject: [WOR] 1841 halesowen- advice please > Hello > > I'm on the 1841 and could do with a bit of advice please. > Does the only reference to Halesowen include Cradley, Lutley and Warley, > or > is there another bit hiding somewhere.
