Hi Veronica, The Waterloo Inn disappeared around the end of the 1960s as part of 'The Blockhouse Slum Clearance'. I definitely visited it twice (maybe three times) 1958 May 16 - (the 2nd of 7 that evening - by bicycle!) and to my surprise can still recall that it was the pleasantest of them all. [Mind you, 4 of them were "up Tolladine" and were large Estate pubs.] The Waterloo at that stage was part of the Spreckley's Brewery Estate, and one of their rare houses where the bitter was properly kept... 1959 Mar 15 - (5th of 10 - on foot, and a Blockhouse Crawl) Now within Cheltenham & Hereford Breweries' empire, with a distinct falling-off in both quality and taste! I don't believe there are now any traces of where it stood - probably covered by the warehouse of Magnet & Southerns.
