Hi Helen, Very many thanks for getting back to me so quickly with the information. William's stated birthplace of Stoulton does fit with the birthplace given in 1871. I've had a look for a christening for him in Stoulton in the IGI but drew a blank. Kezia was christened in Berkeley, Glos and so Woodford (as given in 1851) was not too far out. She did state Berkeley as her birthplace in the 1871 and 1881 censuses. Once again, many thanks for your help. Kind regards Joan
