Hello, I'm new to this list and am a bit confused about which county covers Upper Arley but think it is now in Worcester. I am researching the WALL family who lived in Upper Arley at the beginning of the 19th century. John WALL b. Kinver about 1777 had son Thomas WALL b about 1812 who married Harriet Holloway and had two sons John and Joseph Thomas. Harriet went on to a second marriage after her husband's death to Thomas DIPPLE and had two more children George and Mary Ellen DIPPLE. Joseph Thomas WALL moved to Huyton in Lancashire and his brother John WALL spent 21 years in the Norfolk regiment before retiring to Great Yarmouth.
