Hello Paula The Parish of Dodderhill was a fairly large area [~5,500 acres] to the immediate North and East of the Borough of Droitwich - part of it was even within the boundary of the Borough - and without any sort of central settlement. Its church, St Augustine's, is at the top of a slight hill, the edge of the churchyard being the Bourough boundary. 'Hill End' is the area immediately to the East of the church, where the land falls to the River Salwarpe. As to your other question, yes, it does mean that his occupation isn't given - it is still not a requirement in a Burials Register.
