I am researching the family of Sarah May HAWKESWOOD born in Kidderminster in 1889. Her parents were George and Mary (nee Moulder). There were seven other siblings: Harry (1885), Agnes (1885), Florence (1887), Fanny (1890), Minnie (1892), Caroline (1894) and Hilda (1899). Sarah married FREDERICK SADLER in 1921 in Monmouth where I believe she was working as a Chambermaid. A few months earlier she had given birth to an illegitimate daughter at a home for unmarried mothers in Grove Lane, Camberwell. The child (Florence Maud) was adopted, but I believe Sarah and Frederick tried to claim the child back, without success. Any information on the above will be very welcome. Christine
