I thought I'd better check the archives to see if there had been any other replies in the meantime. However, the original message is not in the archive. I have searched all sorts of different ways, but I'm sure it really isn't there. I saved it on my computer at the time, so I know I didn't dream it, and I have all the details of time, sender etc. (I do not receive in digest mode on this list) How can this happen? Can some messages get missed from the archive? Can a message be deleted by the sender, or by someone else? If a person subsequently unsubscribes, are their previous message then deleted? Joe
