Hello again, Thanks to Ruth and Katie for your contributions but I think perhaps I didn't explain what I'm after very well. I have the censuses / facts / dates about the family but I'm really looking for some Evesham local / social history to put these people into a mental "picture"; e.g. the style or construction of housing they lived in, which other religions / denominations were growing / under threat at the time. Her father market gardened 44 acres of land - was this alot or usual or a relatively small piece of land? Thank again to one and all, Pippa ----- Original Message ----- From: "philippa edwards" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, November 25, 2007 4:43 PM Subject: [WOR] help re coles family 25 cowl street evesham next to GoldenH(e)art >I am writing an essay for a study course, Family History in a Social >Context, and am looking at this part of my family for one aspect of it. >Could anyone tell me anything about this house / the housing of this street >in 1861 to 1881period?
