Hi Stephen, Just picked up on this thread when I saw Gus's comment on a Mormon connection. The MAISEY family emigrated in 1856 on the ship HORIZON. I have the full details, passenger list, diary notes etc from the voyage. The family comprised Daniel, Rebecca and children Silas, George and Rebecca. They joined the Edward Martin Handcart Company along with more than 500 others and headed West arriving Salt Lake City 30 November 1856. (Daniel died on the way as previously mentioned) Let me know if you want these details ... and more.
