    3. Hi List, I'm reposting my interests for Worcester, which is really on one family.... the BRADLEY family: Charles Edwin BRADLEY and Phoebe Ann BRADLEY (both born 1846 in Dudley) were married in 1870 in Stafford. (There were also 1st cousins once removed). Charles was the son on Simeon BRADLEY (1811) and Mary MOUNTFORD. Simeon was the son of John (abt 1770) and Mary. Phoebe was the daughter of John BRADLEY (1822) and Ruth NAYLOR. John was the son of Edward (1800) and Phebe JUKES. Edward was the son of John (abt 1770) and Mary. Charles Edwin and Phoebe BRADLEY had 7 children: Annie Martha (aka Pattie) BRADLEY Born: 14 Jul 1871 - Dudley, Worcester, England Charles Edwin Jnr BRADLEY Born: Abt 1872 - Dudley, Worcester, England Herbert Simeon BRADLEY Born: Oct-Dec 1873 - Dudley, Worcester, England John Arthur BRADLEY Born: Jan-Mar 1875 - Tipton, Stafford, England George Walter BRADLEY Born: Jul-Sep 1876 - Tipton, Stafford, England Mary Maude BRADLEY Born: 1878 - Tividale, Stafford, England William Albert BRADLEY Born: 29 Aug 1880 - Tiverdale, Stafford, England 1851 Census shows Phoebe living in Salop Street, Dudley; and in 1861 at 1 Himley Road, Dudley with her family. 1861 and 1871 Census shows Charles living at Tividale Hall, Staffordshire with his family. The 1881 Census shows Charles and Phoebe them living at Tividale Hall in Rowley Regis, Stafford. The Durham Mining Museum website www.dmm.org.uk shows the family owned a few mines in the 1870-80s: Mines 1869 SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE and WORCESTERSHIRE Name, Location, Owner Dudley Port -Tipton - Amphlett and Bedford. Hopkins and Bradley. F Giles. Sutherland - Rowley Regis - Hopkins and Bradley. Tividale Hall - Rowley Regis - Hopkins and Bradley Tividale Hall New - Rowley Regis - Earl of Dudley. S Bradley and Co. Bradley Hall - Oldbury - S Bradley. Russells Hall - Dudley - Bradley and Co. Shut End - Dudley - John Bradley and Co. Mines of 1880 SOUTH STAFFORDSHIRE - WORCESTERSHIRE Tisidale Hall, Tipton, W. and C. E. Bradley. Wallbutts, Bilston, Bradley Brothers and Southan. Apparently, the mine(s) the family owned burnt down (?) and due to financial ruin (or whatever) Charles, Phoebe and their children left England and settled in Australia in 1887 . I would love to know if anyone else has a connection with the BRADLEY family. I would also like to know a bit more about Tividale Hall if possible. Was it a place or a house? kind regards Libby Hastings Central West, NSW, Australia http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~libby/ ENGLAND Essex - ALGAR, KETLEY Durham - ASHMORE, TODD, WALKER Kent - CHEESEMAN Worc/Staff - BRADLEY also WILBY SCOTLAND Perth, Renfrew, Stirling - BRAND also GRAY, MICKLEJOHN, CRAWFORD, CHRISTIE
