    1. [WOR] Re Pershore Baptisms and John Hatton
    2. Donald Groves
    3. Susie, Firstly I think from information I have received that the marriage may have been to TURVEY not Turey and the marriage date was 1793 not 1783 (ah well nobody is perfect). There clearly is a Bentley connection somewhere as time and time again the forename to a Hatton is Bentley. This from the burials in Pershore goes back well into the late 17th. Century, and continues into the 20th. The reverse does not seem to happen. I would be most interested in any Bentley/Hatton connections that you come across in Pershore or Wick Best wishes. Don I don't have any info on your particular John HATTON. However, in researching my BENTLEY family from Pershore in the late 1600s, early 1700s I've got a couple of references to HATTON - if you find a tie-in to the BENTLEY family let me know.
