Hi Everyone, I'm trying to find proof of the parents of Thomas Lane my 3 x gt grandfather. It is probable that he was born at Suckley in 1737 to a Richard Lane and Susanna (nee ? ). If so was this the same Richard Lane that had been married a Margaret Finch of Suckley in 1719. They had 2 children then there was a gap in the Church records until the Baptism of Thomas Lane in 1737, followed by a sister 1739 to a Richard and Susanna Lane. Thomas married at Alfrick to a Mary smith of Lulsey in 1762. Their first 2 children were Baptised at Alfrick whilst a further 9 were Baptised at Suckley. I would love to hear from someone who may have an interest in this branch of the Lane family, or someone that may have some knowledge to help me further piece things together. Thankyou, Chris from OZ
