His occuaption appears to have been Tailor, Paper Hanger, Cabinet Maker. He married an Ellen SMITH born about 1835 Stourbridge. William's parents are shown as John COMPSON & Ann. I wonder if this John COMPSON & Ann would be the marriage dated 25th December 1818 in Halesowen or not? If this is the correct marriage Ann may be Ann Partridge.
