Hi, For anyone who has, or is thinking of, getting their DNA tested there is a project which may interest them. It is called the British Isles DNA Project and its main aims are "to assemble a detailed haplogroup map of the British Isles by county, corresponding to the DNA profile of the region's early history and settlement." I interpret this as trying to establish whether the "gene pools" of counties can be identified.
