April 2008 Meeting A talk on "DNA in Family History" is to be given by Richard Phillips at the April meeting of the Worcester Branch of the Birmingham & Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry. Richard will give a personal view of taking part in an international DNA study. He will describe how DNA techniques can be used to corroborate or expand family trees. The science is still young but very interesting results are already being achieved. Our bookstall will as usual be in the capable hands of our librarian, Peter Taylor. The meeting, at the Baptist Church Hall in Sansome Walk, Worcester, will be on Friday, 11th April, starting at 7.30pm. Visitors are welcome to attend.
