I am new to the list and living in Canada am not great with the geography of England although I was born and raised in London many many years ago. I have been tracing my mothers family for some years now and have recently found my 3xGreat Aunt Mary Ann YELF born 1813 Hants married John Richard HUNT born about 1812 Hairdresser born Worcester,Worcs.John's father is given as Richard HUNT hairdresser. Looking at the 1841 census I did find a Richard HUNT age 60yrs hairdresser living on Angel Street,St Nicholas, North Worcester,Worcester with a Charles HUNT 20 and Eliza HUNT15. Although I did find a Charles HUNT on the 1861 census born St Nicholas,Worcester I have not been able to find Richard after 1841. I do not have access to the 1851 census. How would I find out if this Richard is John Richard HUNT's father? Are there any church records available for Worcester St Nicholas that I could search? Given the HUNT name is not that unusual any suggestions would be appreciated and if anyone else is researching this family I would love to hear from them.
