Would sks have access to the microfilm of the following & kindly be able to check if these christenings are all for the one couple, namely John & Ann COMPSON? Perhaps there is also information on the dates these people were born &/or addresses or occupations for the parents. I am also intersted in locating Ann's maiden surname? I think it may have been PARTRIDGE but am not sure. The last christening is the most important one to me & the parents. In the 1841 census John, Ann & two of their issue - Thomas & William -are all living in High Street, Stourbridge as is Laban Hughes PACKWOOD, his wife, Eleanor - both 20 & their child Laban 11 months. I believe Eleanor COMPSON above married Laban Hughes PACKWOOD in Wolverhampton in 1838, & later moved to Stourbridge where they are in the 1841 Census. William COMPSON (William Frederick COMPSON) married Ellen SMITH in 1856 in Stourbridge. The father, John COMPSON, born about 1791 in Worcester, I believe died between the 1841 & 1851 census. Ann, his wife I believe was born about 1796. Winsome (winbri at bigpond.com)
