Apologies for any cross posting, it was just to mention I've added 20 new Newspapers Transcripts - with a few more in the pipeline later in the month. These are 20 more editions of one of my favourite newspapers, Berrow's Worcester Journal, from the reigns of George II and George III (various dates 1756, 1757, 1763, and 1771). As usual the newspaper features not only Worcestershire news, but news and advertisements from Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, etc. Along with "Country News" which could be any county ! News from Ireland, Scotland, lots from London, and I've included some international news, covering mainly the war in and around Prussia and Hanover, and of course North America. I suspect thats all the newspapers I've got for 1756, but I've a number yet for 1757, so I'll try to get these finished next. Just to mention incase its of interest - I've added 6 further transcripts of Berrows, all from 1757, and I've probably another 8 from 1757 to add next month . As usual this excellent title contains some quality news reports, featuring not only Worcestershire news, but news and advertisements from Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, etc. Along with "Country News" which can be any county which Harvey Berrow had received the local newspaper for and seen something "interesting" and worth re-printing. Some news from Ireland and Scotland, and lots from London, and immediate area. I'm contining to add some international news, covering mainly the war in and around Prussia and Hanover, and of course North America, where it isn't acknowledged to be sourced from the London Gazette.
