In 1891 his first wife was still alive and called Ellen T Campion. FreeBMD has the marriage in 1879 of William George Campion and Ellen Teresa Brown at King's Norton RD. Ellen died in 1898 in Solihull Rd. Ancestry's death indexes 1916-2005 has 28 Ada Campions but my guess would be that she is the one who died in Birmingham in the Sep quarter of 1946, aged 77, which ties in very nearly with her birth in 1869. -- Roy Stockdill Genealogical researcher, writer & lecturer Newbies' Guide to Genealogy & Family History: www.genuki.org.uk/gs/Newbie.html "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."
