I wonder if anyone else is as unsuccessful as I am in trying to contact this list. Hi Gus and Listers I've been fortunate enough to link up this week with another STOKES seeker.My 3GGF, Thomas STOKES, did in fact marry my number one suspect, Jane HYDE (thanks, Gus!) and had four children. His parents were Thomas STOKES b 1759 and Sarah PRI(T)CHARD. Thomas Sr's parents were Thomas STOKES and Anne ALDEY. I've searched for marriages for Thomas/Sarah about 1775 and Thomas/Anne about 1755, but not only have I drawn a blank, I can't even find any nests of PRICHARDs or ALDEYs. Is anyone on the list currently researching any of these names, please? I have STOKES on three lines in the Malvern area of WOR and was hoping to find a link between them. So far, not a sausage.
