If you log in there is a tiny HELP near the top. Clicking on it takes you to Q & A. Scroll down and there is a CONTACT US. **** Ann **** ----- Original Message ----- From: Gus Tysoe To: eng-worcester@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, November 28, 2010 3:58 PM Subject: [WOR] Errors in Ancestry Births Index Before any queries are raised concerning 'relevance', this has a strong WOR connection, in that it relates to Oldbury Registration District... Does anyone know how to contact ancestry.uk to point out systematic errors in their indexes - other than the 'Comments' box on individual entries? I ask because I have just located between 350 and 370 cases of 1946 births Aug-Dec in Oldbury District being labelled "Yorkshire"... The District's volume number had been changed on 1 July year from 6c to 9d [which was up to then a Yorkshire volume] and this change has clearly been missed in Ancestry's transcription of births, although both marriages and deaths are correctly shown as Worcestershire and with the appropriate volume numbers for each quarter.
