My father's 3 sisters were British Home Children in 1908.  They travelled on the SS Carthaginian from Liverpool to Halifax, Nova Scotia.    This was given to me after a request on Theshipslist. The three girls left Worcester for Liverpool where they boarded the next day. She was probably a British Home Child, and appropriately in this present "Year Of The British Home Child" I am seeking any information on her through the means of Adoption Agencies, Orphanages, Workhouses, Passenger Lists to North America, Census Returns (US + Canada), Marriage, Roots Lists, etc. I do belong to the British Home Child Roots List.
