Meeting of the Worcester Branch of the BMSGH Family and social historians will be interested in a talk, to be given in Worcester. The talk, on the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission will be given by Geoff Longmore, Chairman of Wolverhampton Branch of the Western Front Association. Established by Royal Charter in 1917, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission pays tribute to the 1,700,000 men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the two world wars. The meeting, organised by the Worcester Branch of the Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry, will take place at the Baptist Church Hall in Sansome Walk, Worcester on Friday, September 10th, 2010 at 7.30pm.
