Hello all, Is there anybody on-list studying SPRAGUE or RIDGLEY or HUDSON in Worcestershire please? I am interested in Allen Spragg of the parish of Kidderminster who married Catharine Ridgley of the parish of Shrawley in 1787. I have found an Allen Sprague (son of Thomas and Hannah) on the Ancestry transcription service christened at Areley Kings on 2nd November 1765. Catherine RIDGLEY was probably baptised at Richards Castle on the Shropshire/Herefordshire border on 26th December 1766, the daughter of Richard RIDGLEY and Catherine HUDSON. Catherine is described as being from Hartlebury (and I see that there is a Hartlebury in the Shrawley/Areley Kings area). I think Catherine was born around 1730. I wondered if anybody had come across any of these families, and also whether there is any link between the Worcestershire Spragues and the Sprague family of the Axminster area of Devon/Dorset.
