Hello, I am currently researching the family of John SMART (c.1756-1816) who was a glass cutter. I think it is likely that he married Esther PERRINS at Dudley St Thomas on 26th December 1781 and was buried at Birmingham St Mary Whittall Street on 10th June 1816. Census data leads me to think that there could be a glass cutting dynasty in Dudley and Birmingham - there are several glass workers by the name of SMART in the area. Regards Peter
