Can anyone give me the location of Bouldthorpe? Geoff Bowles
Hi Geoff Are you sure that this is a Wiltshire location. The suffix 'thorpe' suggests somewhere in 'Danelaw' in the east to the north-east of England. I don't know any -thorpes in Wiltshire and certainly no Bould-anything. Thorpes being a Danish ending are mainly in eastern England. However Bouldthorpe does not appear in my gazetteer in any part of the country. Do you have any further clues?
