    1. [ENG-WILTSHIRE] Criminal Records - TOLSON

    3. Hi, I seem to remember seeing records of criminal cases complete with the alleged crime, person bringing the charge, and the sentence but I can't find it anymore. Maybe it was for a different county and I'm just confused. Anyway, does anyone know where I might find the record for one George TOLSON (chr: 9/4/1815 Wroughton) who was in Devizes prison in 1851 with the notation "destination: upon orders". Thanks, Bob

Not quite covering your specific enquiry, I know, but well worth a browse anyway. http://www.oldbaileyonline.org/ -- Roz Cawley roz@autumncottage.co.uk "For a woman of experience, there is no such thing as chance..."
