    3. Hi Rob, You're welcome. It was quite easy and I'll tell you how I did it for next time. Most errors where an entry is missing from a page in the marriage register are caused by transcription errors. Most of the district errors are picked up by FreeBMD using a very large number of 'alternate' names so it's usually the volume or the page number that's the problem. Of the entries for Amesbury for that quarter (all 28 of them) half are the wrong gender and can be discounted. Looking at the entries for each of the remainder for likely mistranscriptions I came across the entry for Mr. Marsh, and looking at the image he was obviously on page 321 and therefore the missing entry.
