    3. Hi, I am trying to trace the origins of my ADLAM line, and I wondered if anyone on this list has researched the ADLAM name. My John Adlam was born c. 1810 and emigrated to Ontario, Canada. Sherrye

    3. Hello Sherrye We have a few Wiltshire Adlams in our online tree. They lived in and around Donhead St Mary and Tollard Royal in Wiltshire. We don't (at the moment) have a John Adlam whose birth date matches yours. Our family database is at http://gw.geneanet.org/index.php3?b=joyell And includes many Wiltshire families If you enter Adlam in the search box you will see those we have so far. To view their individual pages click on a person's name According to the 1841 census there appear to have been 4 John Adlams born at around the right time.
