(as my British friend would put it!) I can't beleive that I actually know about Joseph's family now....I thought I would never find out! Thank you for all your "digging". My Reeves family sure had unique names....Meshach, Abednego, Amram, Phineas, Havilah etc..... very biblical actually. I guess it makes them easier to research! On the 1851 Ontario Census of Walsingham Twp., Ontario, Margaret Reeves is missing from the Reeves family "brood", and she is listed a few lines below, as "Margaret Reeves", Widow, Son Thomas 1. I know from the Woodward Family Album that Margaret Reeves did come to Canada and married in 1854. I know that it is "weird" that Margaret would be listed as a "Reeves" if she was widowed, unless....she was a young girl in England who got pregnant out of wedlock and came to Canada where no one knew her and said she was a widow.....speculating...who knows...... If you have the time could you still check for a Margaret Reeves (Reeve) birth or christening?...or maybe you have already. Thanks. Also, you mentioned a Levi Reeves baptism?
