Hi Folks, Greetings from Toronto, Canada. Elisha LAWRENCE, the youngest son of George LAWRENCE and Anne APPLEFORD, was born in Hilmarton, Wilts, England, in 1778. Elisha married Susannah PALMER, in Bromham, Wilts, in 1798. They lived in the village of Hilmarton, where Elisha was an agricultural labourer, and where they they raised their family. Elisha and Susannah had issue: a. John LAWRENCE, born about 1800, who married Sarah TAYLOR in Hilmarton, where they lived and had issue; b. Isaac LAWRENCE, born about 1802; c. Richard LAWRENCE, born about 1804; d. Elizabeth LAWRENCE, born about 1807; buried in Hilmarton in 1808; e. Charles LAWRENCE, born about 1809; Charles married Honor ????; they lived in Hilmarton and in London, where they had issue; f. Elizabeth LAWRENCE, born about 1814; buried in Hilmarton in 1829. I am anxious to contact any researcher or relation of this family and to exchange LAWRENCE family history notes on them.
