    3. Hi Kathleen.. It looks to me as though the Anne found by Peggy is most probably the one you are looking for. The date fits in with what you were looking for and as there was no father she probably continued to use the mother's name of Smith. Other villages close by include Burbage, Ludgershall & Everleigh. Many Burbage records are available on line at www.burbage-wiltshire.co.uk/FHS/burbage.htm. However, if she gave Collingbourne as the place of birth it is highly likely the Anne found by Peggy is the one.
