Greetings from a hot Cardiff. My name is Graham, and I am researching the above for a Cousin of mine.I have traced a James MASLIN who,in the 1851 census, was residing in Beaufort Place,Oystermouth,Gower,South Wales. His birthplace listed in this census being Devizes.James is aged 73,and a "Clerk".His wife was Elizabeth, nee BUTTON[who's origins are firmly planted in the Gower] I had a look at the IGI for Wiltshire, and found a possibility for a James MASLIN being baptised 13 february 1782 at the St;Mary Independant Devizes, the son of William & Sarah MASLIN.[who also had another 5 children baptised there] So then.Is there anyone on the list who is doing these MASLIN's please?Or who knows if anyone is please,or could add any further information? James & Elizabeth MASLIN had 4 children born at Oystermouth.Their Grand-daughter Emeline Elizabeth JONES born 1860 at Oystermouth,is my Cousin's Great,Grandmother. Many thanks.Graham.
