Hi I have the following Merrett's from Corsham in my tree. Alan Merrett 1925 Edmond Merrett 1900 James Merrett 1860 married Sarah Baggott (is my main connection). Joyce Merrett 1925 Winifred Lucy Merrett 1900 married Harold Beesley (is a secondary connection). Their son Tony (not yet on the internet) has a wonderfully documented Merrett family tree! Have you investigated the Baggott connection? The tree goes back to 770 and some say 170 ad. The current count is 450,000 in the tree. If I can help further then please let me know.
